Beal Feeling Better, Status For Wednesday Uncertain

March 5, 2013

Jeremy Hyman -

After taking Monday off, the Wizards were back at practice on Tuesday.

Bradley Beal, who suffered a sprained left ankle in Sunday night's #WizSixers game, was held out of practice and limited to just shooting free throws. After getting carried off the court on Sunday, the good news is that he is already walking on his own and the injury does not appear to be too serious. Beal would not rule himself out of Wednesday night's #WizWolves game, but expect the team to be very cautious with the 19-year old rookie. I would only expect him to play if he is close to 100% and can explode off that left ankle.

Beal spoke with the media after practice about his injury:

The other big news of the day was the announcement that the Wizards will be traveling to Brazil this October to play the Chicago Bulls for a preseason game.

Native Brazilian Nene was asked about his thoughts on the news after practice:

Randy Wittman also spoke with the media about the trip, the latest on Beal's injury, and closing out games:

Stay tuned to for Wednesday's Game Preview along with Nene and Randy Wittman's thoughts on playing the T'Wolves.
