Beal Remains Day-to-Day

March 12, 2013
Jeremy Hyman -

Bradley Beal did not practice on Monday and unless he is able to run and cut on that ankle today, it would be unlikely to see him play tonight when the Wizards take on the Cavs. Randy Wittman would not rule Beal out, but said that his ankle would have to improve for him to be able to play.

Beal spoke to the media about his ankle and talked about the potential of what a Wall/Beal vs. Irving/Waiters backcourt matchup could look like for years to come:

Kyrie Irving is also going to be out tonight as he was just diagnosed with a shoulder injury. John Wall was unhappy to hear this news as he was looking forward to the challenge of going up against another one of the league's best young point guards.

Randy Wittman also talked about how the team was approaching Beal's injury and acknowledged that tonight would be the Wizards last chance to beat the Cavs this season.
